During the worst of the pandemic, most people hunkered down in their houses, ordered their DoorDash and UberEats, binged Tiger King and waited for it to end. But three entrepreneurial Moms, Teresa Striker, Madeline Lunz and Amber McCullough, put their heads together and decided to pursue their dream of opening a special toy store in Babylon Village. One that would reflect their idea of the “magic” a toy store should represent.

On June 19th, 2021, that dream became real and Argyle Toys, at 10 Grove Place, opened its doors to the public.

Despite the challenges of competing with big box retailers like Target and Walmart and navigating the global pandemic, over the past year the owners have managed to double the size of the store and established their business as the place to go for interesting and unique toys in Babylon.
