The incident or incidents involving a Babylon High School science teacher that were characterized as “disturbing allegations” and resulted in him being removed from class and “reassigned to home” do not involve any criminal activity, according to the SCPD.

In an e-mailed statement, SCPD noted that the First Precinct Crime Section interviewed numerous parents and students and determined that there was no “criminal activity”.

At this time, neither the name of the teacher nor the nature of the alleged misconduct has been officially released.

As reported earlier, a “professional staff member” has entered into a separation agreement with the Babylon School Board which will become active on November 8th, but district officials have refused to confirm or deny whether this staff member is the same one that was removed from class.
