Babylon Village’s Jake Carlock was released from the New York Giants practice squad.
I would like to thank the @Giants organization for the opportunity of a lifetime. I have made memories that will last a lifetime. Everything happens for a reason and I am eager to see what the future holds.

Carlock was a fan favorite, at least around Babylon, who had a brief moment of national attention when he returned an interception for a touchdown in the first game of the pre-season. He was cut before the start of the regular season and then signed to the New York Giants practice squad.
Jake played college ball at LIU Post and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Giants as a safety, linebacker and long snapper. The Giants current long snapper, Zak DeOssie, is 35 years old and has been on the Giants since 2007.
We wish Jake the best in his future endeavors.
