According to a tweet by The Athetic’s beat writer Dan Duggan, Babylon’s own Jake Carlock has been cut from the New York Giants.

Carlock was impressive in the Giants first preseason game against the Jets, returning an interception for a touchdown and recording a sack on backup Luke Falk, but as an undrafted free agent from a DII school, he always faced an uphill battle to make the team.
Jake’s New York Giants journey may not be over yet. Each team has ten spots on their practice squad for developmental and backup players. Practice squad players are not eligible to play in games unless they are signed to the 53 man roster.
Teams can start signing players to their practice squads starting Sunday at around 1pm Eastern time.
