   Gotcha, well judging from that vantage point, the photographer is in Babylon Village, but the Boat Houses are in West Islip..across Sumpwams Creek. They are on West Islip Road…We do get to view them though!!

   Whoever took the photo, he or she missed out! I mean, don’t get me wrong, those boat garages are great. And there are some really great ones in W Islip, especially on that canal behind (one of the) Sequams that end up in a cul-de-sac.

   What the photographer missed is the osprey that’s taken up in the dead tree branches just down the creek from here. You can see it if you stand on the creek side of the intersection of Virginia and Shore. Once you find it it’s easy to find. Look for a white and brown combo.

   If you ever want to do some shots from a waterfront perspective..I have a little boat that we can go up and down the canals with.
