Back In The Saddle Again

Hello HIB readers. Wow, a whole two weeks without an update. Did you guys miss me?
For those of you who are interested, little Aurora Jane is officially the light of my life. Mom and baby are doing well as we all adjust to our new circumstances. I’m back to blogging, so let’s get caught up.
After [...]

Blog Posting May Be Light…

I am pleased to introduce Aurora Jane Katherine. She was born today, October 1st, at 12:33 AM. She weighed in at 8 pounds, one ounce and was 21 inches long.
She is obviously the most beautiful baby ever, although some may say that I’m a little biased in this regard. She arrived [...]

MLS Report - Autumn Leaves Are Falling

The Summer is now officially over. Mostly it’s still hot and muggy, but there have been a few cold, wet, rainy days and a slight chill of Autumn is in the air. With the Summer goes the Summer selling season and consequently the number of homes on MLS is slowly dropping. A couple of homes [...]

More Criticism For MLSLI.Com

I’ve been pretty unrestrained in my criticisms for MLSLI.Com in the past. One of the things I’ve constantly harped on is the design, which looks pretty much like it used to back in 1997 when I worked for the now defunct Long Island Savings Bank and used to do updates and tweaks on it.

I know that I haven’t been updating the blog much recently. I’m sorry about that, but things have been busy here at HIB headquarters.

I changed my nickname on the blog from Chuchundra to Gary. Chuchundra has been my internet alias for going on ten years now. I use it mainly for posting on political [...]

A Letter To The Editor

My student loans are too big and it is hurting the economy. Can I have a bailout, please? I need $92,000.
Thanks.

Open House Sunday - Catch Up Edition

We saw these open houses three weeks ago. These may be our last open houses for a while. I’m working this weekend coming up and the Tuesday after that is my wife’s official due date. Time flies when you’re having fun.
There were 13 open houses Sunday, 8/24/2008 in Babylon Village. I often work on Sunday, [...]

Sold Homes In Second Half of August

Here are the rest of the houses sold in Babylon in August 2008. This a followup to this post on home sales in the first half of August. There’s not a lot here that we’d have been particularly interested in. This makes a total of 11 homes sold in August. With 95 homes in MLS [...]
