Tomorrow is Wounded Warrior Soldier Ride in Babylon Town. The NYS DOT has issued the following advisories. Motorists should expect road closures on Friday, July 21 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Southbound Robert Moses Causeway between Southern State Parkway to Ocean Parkway Ocean Parkway westbound between Robert Moses Causeway and Overlook Beach. On June 25th, Brookhaven Town’s website was hacked by a group calling itself Team System DZ which claims to be representing the terrorist group ISIS. Mayor Scordino Responds To Newsday Article About Babylon Village Employee

This past Sunday, Newsday published an article revealing that Babylon Village Public Works Superintendent Charles “Skip” Gardner owes more than $31,000 in unpaid property taxes. Village public works chief owes $31,000 in delinquent taxes Until May, Gardner also owed $3,400 in property tax liens issued by Babylon Village from as early as 2012, according to tax records.
