    Hey great news, Gary! It’s been a long road to be sure – I’m sure it will al be worth it! One idea as your journey ends…how about recruiting a seller to blog their experience? I’m sure there are some interesting sagas happening out there..

    Fan, I’ve put out the call several times for people to come on to the HIB team and share their experiences and insights, either as a member of the blog or as a guest poster. The only one who’s ever taken me me up on it is Anonymoose.

    I’d welcome some different perspectives for this blog. Sellers, buyers, Realtors, whomever, feel free to contact me and give me your pitch.

    Is it fair to say that the focus of the blog is for first time home buyers? Perhaps it is an unintended consequence that others are not coming forth as they feel they are not offering a relevant experience. Would you be ok with addressing a different constituency?

    A friend asked me to help move him into his newly purchased money pit in Plainfield (so far big ticket items have been $20k for emergency replacement of only bathroom; five figures due for basement leaks, and and a five figure roof are pending. *shrug*).

    I seriously thought I was too old for that kind of shit.
