It'd be cool if the pieces really were in Sumpwam's Creek. And in other news, the Mayor stopped by (with one of the Trustees) this past week. They brought by a big bag of Welcome gifts (potholder from the Fire Department, quarter for the meter, an energy smart light bulb from a local electrician, and a bunch of other goodies). Pretty cool. I read about the Welcoming Committee in the Minutes, and wondered if it ever materialized. It's a nice touch. I hope they keep it up. My friends who live in the city, and even other parts of LI, really can't believe how nice people are here. From the neighbors to the government! They can't decide if I moved to Pleasantville (never saw the movie), Funny Farm (great movie), of the 1950s. Either way, we're very, very happy! Sweet! And congratulations!
